Labor day weekend Trip to Vegas

This is about to be a monster big post, but it was a monster full weekend, so there's no way around it! We're back and most thankfully we did manage to find good, clean fun even in Las Vegas! We went to bed each night with our feet and calves literally aching from all the walking and site seeing! The kids loved the adventure and were amazing. More than once we got comments about the troop we were traveling around with, but the kids made it easy. It was great to meet up with Steve and Shauna too, its always fun to spend time with them. So in three days, we did a lot!

Lamby is 10 Months!

Claire turned 10 months on Monday while we were in Las Vegas. We found this wonderful kids park at a mall that day and she had a blast playing on the cars and watching children play in the splash pad. She is growing up! She has about 10 tricks up her sleeve to perform on que: kisses, patty-cake, bouncing, "da-da", bubbles, peek-a-boo... etc. She's a smart one.




She recognizes everyone in our family and her highlight of each day is when the big kids come home from school. She kicks her legs with excitement and grins from ear to ear. They of course all fight over who gets to hold her and love her first.

She still isn't crawling, but thinks about it. Scoots around on the floor a bit and in circles. Tends to move backwards when she is trying to actually crawl. I don't mind...

She is nothing but joy for our family. We say that daily cause it's true. I can't believe she's almost ONE!
