One Month Old

Claire-bear, Clairey-bear, Clairabelle, Lamby, Little Lamb... all nicknames that have become commonplace around our home this month. Our little girl is one month old! She is sweet and beautiful and cuddly and so fun to have around. She is still in newborn clothes but filling them completely out. Yesterday was her first day in size one diapers - necessary due to leaks in the newborn (I tried pushing through the rest of the big pack we have.. but no). Last night she slept 6 hours straight!!! Can I get a boo-ya?! We climbed in bed at ten and she slept and hummed until 4, then again until 7am. I feel like a million bucks this morning.

Claire is a good sport in the car and while running errands - not her favorite things, but will put up with them. She loves going on walks outside in the stroller. She likes being in the bijorn and sling, she naps pretty well in the swing during the day and she's okay taking a binki. Not too wild about it at this point taking it from mom, but daddy can work his magic. She likes to be swaddled, continues to nurse like a pro and is just growing, growing, growing.

We are still holding out for that first smile. She thinks about it sometimes as she looks into our eyes, but nothing worth noting yet. Soon, I think.

And here she is on her one month birthday in her pink cupcake outfit. I thought that was appropriate! :) Love her.
