Birthday season is upon us again! Jake kicked if off this morning - and boy was their energy in the air! My baby boy turns 6 today. How lucky we are to have him!
Last night we looked through pictures in his baby book of the day he was born. It was the first time he's slowed down long enough to really look at them and he was priceless. He cracked up at the faces he made as a newborn and how chubby he was. I watched him as he poured over the photographs trying to take pictures in my mind that will last forever. What a blessing he is to us!
Jake has got to be THE most fun-loving kid on the planet. Nothing gets him down. He is always in a pleasant mood and looking for a good time. He is creative and artistic and smart and friendly and kind. The world could learn a lot from this kid.
We are having a chuck-e-cheese party for him in the morning with his buddies. Then we are coming home to swim. I hope Jake feels important and knows how much we all love him. He is one-in-a-million.
