We bought the property three years ago with no intention of ever having to step foot in it. The owners were under contract to buy it back after one year (they needed to improve their credit situation and rented from us for that year) but they also spent all their money and never came up with the down payment. They've been renting since then, but we finally had to evict them. At this point we had few options but to improve the place.
